From the water, you’ll see the Opera House illuminated against the night sky, city lights shimmering across the harbour and the bridge itself framed in a way few people ever experience.

There’s something uniquely special about being on the harbour after dark. Kayaking in Sydney at night offers a perspective that simply doesn’t exist during the day. The water is calmer, the city feels quieter and every paddle stroke is accompanied by reflections of light dancing across the surface.

What to bring

Clothes and shoes that are comfy, and you don’t mind getting wet. A long-sleeved rashie works a treat even during a night kayak in Sydney, and board shorts are quite good too to keep you dry!

For the colder months, layer up; early mornings and evenings can get a bit nippy.

We can also provide splash/windproof clothing for the winter season. ($5 cleaning fee will apply per item.)

Cancellations

• Where you provide more than 7 days’ notice, you can get a 90% refund or choose a new date. We keep 10% to cover our fees.
• Where you provide between 3–7 days’ notice: You can get a 70% refund or we’ll offer a new date with a 10% rebooking fee. We keep 30% from the refund to cover our fees.
• Where less than 72 Hours’ notice is provided, or you do not show, we do not provide any refunds, new dates or store credit.
